I have been fascinated by languages and human communication for as long as I can remember. Over 35 years ago, I began teaching English to adults. That passion led me to complete a BA Honours in Law and Spanish at the University of Sheffield, followed by a Masters in Human Rights and Democratization at the University of Padua and Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
In 2003, I qualified as a UK lawyer. I realised that my interests lay in helping leaders and professionals communicate across borders. I began coaching corporate executives in Europe, bringing together my teaching experience, business English specialisation, and legal knowledge.

A deeper understanding
through professional coach training.
Between 2004 and 2012, I trained as a brain-based coach through David Rock’s coaching programmes. I earned my ICF credentials, achieving PCC in 2018 and a Master Certified Coach in 2025.
I wanted to go deeper into the biology of learning and how we learn as unique individuals. In 2020, I completed a Masters in Applied Neuroscience, followed in 2021 by a Masters in Neuroeducation and Neuropsychology.
Today, I bring this understanding into how I coach and teach: for example, how our brain responds to pressure, how we form memories, and how awareness can influence our behaviour and communication.
03 / THE CREATION OF NEUROLANGUAGE COACHING®
Bringing professional coaching and neuroscience
into language learning.
In 2012, I developed Neurolanguage Coaching®, combining professional coaching competencies and neuroscience with language learning. Through Efficient Language Coaching®, I began training teachers to bring these principles into their own practice.
We have trained over 2,100 language teachers worldwide. In 2019, Efficient Language Coaching and Neurolanguage Coaching® received the Re-Imagine Education Bronze Award in the Science of Learning category and in 2026 we were shortlisted for The Pie Education Awards.
My own experience of learning French, Spanish, Italian, German, Catalan and dabbling in other languages has always shaped and continues to inform all my work with language learning. I understand both the fascination and the challenges of communicating in another language.

Life-long learning and the
pursuit of a Doctorate.
Today, my work spans executive and professional coaching, international keynote speaking, and bringing Neurolanguage Coaching and NeuroHeart Education® to teachers and schools across the globe. I am passionate about teacher transformation and new approaches in pedagogy and how we, the educators of today can adjust and adapt to the learners of today. Life has changed. We are different and our learners are different. As we evolve to the next stages of human evolution, we have to become more flexible, innovative and adaptive in our teaching approaches.
Whether I am coaching a leader, speaking at a conference, or supervising a professional coach, my commitment is the same: to accompany people on their transformative journeys!
