THE APPROACH
What is executive coaching?
Executive coaching is a structured conversation focused on a leader’s goals, thinking, behaviour, and professional relationships. It creates space to examine a challenge, consider different perspectives, and decide what to do next.
A promotion, a difficult working relationship, or a demanding decision can change what you need from your leadership. We begin with the situation you are facing, rather than a fixed model of how a leader should behave.

I am Rachel Paling, an ICF Master Certified Coach, UK-qualified lawyer, and creator of Neurolanguage Coaching®. I hold Masters degrees in Applied Neuroscience and Neuropsychology in Education. I became a registered ICF Mentor Coach in 2023 and received my Coach Supervisor certification in 2024.

Who is executive coaching for?
I work with executives, senior leaders, managers, and management teams. We discuss your role, current challenges, and goals in an initial conversation to determine whether my approach fits what you need.
How does coaching differ from consulting?
In consulting, the focus is often on an expert recommending a solution. In coaching, I help you examine your own thinking, resources, and choices. We explore your context and the actions you want to take rather than following a pre-set business prescription.
What languages can I use in coaching?
I coach in English, Spanish, and Italian. We agree the language that lets you reflect and communicate most comfortably.
How long does executive coaching take?
There is no fixed duration on this website. We discuss your goals, preferred format, schedule, and the focus of the coaching before agreeing how to work together.
